As I mentioned, the morning tours are those that offer the snorkelling. I visited Kauai in early January 2022 and one of my favourite activities was the Napali sunset cruise. Not only did the Na Pali sunset cruise provide some of the best photo opportunities on Kauai, but it was also a fun experience. Napali Coast Sunset Cruise Boat
Dinner is generous, usually comprising charcuterie-style snacks followed by pulled pork or chicken with rice, salad, pasta and a little brownie for those with a sweet tooth. The cruise rounds off with a champagne toast while you watch dolphins and sea turtles dance in the distance as the sun goes down. Wasn’t a lot to see snorkeling, but it was still fun. We saw monk seals, dolphins, turtles, and humpback whales from the boat. The boat will dock shortly after sunset and that is the end of your Kauai sunset cruise to the Na Pali Coast. As you leave the Na Pali Coast behind, dinner is served and the sun will begin to set.

All of our food is made daily (with love!) using whole ingredients, by our caterers here on the south side of Kauai. The Kauai Sunset Dinner Cruise is for those that want to see the NaPali Coast, marine life, including humpback whales (in season), but don’t want to do any snorkeling. Captain Joe and his crew did an excellent job of entertaining us while on the snorkeling cruise. He pointed out a pod of spinner dolphins and a few sea turtles. For the Napali Sunset Cruise, you’ll be on our company’s flagship, namesake vessel, Holoholo. This badass boat was designed and built here on Kauai in 1997 and has been taking daily trips to the “Forbidden Island” of Niihau in all of the years since. Almost every morning, Holoholo crosses the demanding 17-mile Kaulakahi Channel (twice!) on her way to and from Niihau, taking passengers on an adventure of a lifetime on our Napali-Niihau Super Tour.
